“Our Gallery has been a significant part of the Glasgow and Scottish art world for the past 25 years, working with artists quietly to help put them on the right career path, introducing young (and not so young, painters) to collectors and galleries".

 

Director, Frances Lowrie, has a great passion for painters, particularly figurative works and it is this strong belief in our talented, exceptional artists which has driven the gallery forward. She loves particularly to expose new artists work out-with the walls of the gallery, an approach which helps break down the reticence of some to cross the threshold of a gallery.
